Welcome to our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, this year for the benefit of the Chilliwack Food Bank, which is facilitated by the Chilliwack Salvation Army. At last year's golf tournament, we were able to raise $130,000 and our goal for the 2024 tournament is to raise over $150,000. 

The Chilliwack Food Bank operates a number of programs designed to help drive hunger out of our community, by supporting low-income families and households.

The Food Bank Pantry is a free grocery store that provides fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, baked goods, and more, to over 4000 Chilliwack households every month. The Salvation Army believes that everyone should be able to put fresh healthy food on the table for their family, and The Pantry is an essential resource for seniors, single-parents, and low-income working families, impacting over 10,000 people every single month!

The Food Bank Hamper Program provides food hampers containing dry goods, frozen meat, toiletries, and more, to over 1500 households every month, an astounding 500% increase in the last 2 years alone! Did you know that 1000 of those monthly hampers are actually distributed to families through ~15 local partner charities, including Anne Davis Transition Society, Wilma's Transition Society, Cyrus Centre, Senior's Resource Centre, and the SD33 Starfish Backpack program? This allows them to expand the reach of the Food Bank and promote food security across our city more efficiently, to reach people who might not otherwise have access to the Food Bank.

$1 in donation is worth $2 in buying power for the Salvation Army Food Bank, so your support will go a long ways to driving hunger out of Chilliwack!
